What is Congress’ problem?
I feel as though I’m on the deck of the Titanic and our legislators are bickering over the proper arrangement of the chairs — each with a different formation in mind, strongly justifying his or her own special plan, and making no progress.
Help! Does anyone need a lifeboat? I have the feeling we’re sinking, considering all the squabbling that’s taking place.
Let’s rescue ourselves by reaching out to our elected officials on such issues as campaign reform, gun control, fraud, waste, influence by lobbyists, infrastructure priorities and immigration reform.
We need to be proactive.
