Christopher Callahan and Jennifer Balsiger

An Oct. 4 wedding is being planned by Jennifer Balsiger and Christopher Callahan, both of Erie.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert Balsiger of Butler and Peggy Ruediger of Sarver. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Jane and Bob Callahan of Erie.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Knoch High School. She received two bachelor’s degrees from Penn State in 2009 and a master’s of public administration from Penn State in 2013.

She is employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs in Erie.

Her fiance graduated in 2004 from Villa Maria Academy in Erie and in 2009 from Penn State.

He is employed by The Exchange in Erie.
