Citizens being robbed

I am writing about the news about the CIA giving bags of money to Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

Our politicians should be ashamed of themselves for letting that go on.

It was claimed that the money was for the wounded and sick and to pay rent for housing and for operational purposes.

But the word “ashamed” is way too mild; “dirt bags” is a better description.

Our politicians want the American people to tighten their belts; many want to cut Medicare, programs and jobs.

Every time I go to the store, someone is there asking me to donate. My answer is no, until we stop sending food to North Korea and hundreds of millions of dollars to Syria, Egypt, Pakistan and the other half of the world.

Those seeking donations should see the man on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. He has plenty of money to give away.

We want to force our way of government on other nations, and it’s my opinion that the CIA probably has killed more people than many other countries.

Our president can take $1 million vacations, while some of our seniors are cutting their medications in half to make ends meet.

I could care less about the wounded and sick in Afghanistan. I care about the people in this country.

Twenty years ago, “60 Minutes” presented a report on how the government was paying $750 for a toilet seat. With “60 Minutes” airing on a Sunday, I was absolutely sure on Monday that we had bought more.

The government doesn’t care; the American people will swallow it.

Our politicians are a bunch of carpetbaggers. The only things they lack are a gun and mask.
