Laura and Derek Woods

Laura Jerpi and Derek Woods, both of Pittsburgh, were united in marriage Jan. 5 at Heinz Memorial Chapel, Pittsburgh. The Rev. Phillip Garver, CSM, officiated. A reception followed at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association.

The bride is the daughter of Henry and Phyllis Jerpi of Cranberry Township. Parents of the bridegroom are Ronald and Cindy Norris of Royersford, Pa.

Bridesmaids included Bess Wilson of Middletown, Del., and Lauren Giglione, Emily King, Allison Kuchta and Amanda Wawrzeniak, all of Pittsburgh.

The flower attendant was Kim Garver of Fort Wayne, Ind. The guest book attendants were Kayla and Natalie Molnar of Cranberry Township.

Ushers included Dan Bulwinkle of Pittsburgh, Matt Garcia of Virginia, Steve McGrath of Philadelphia, Bill Murtha of Pittsburgh and Gerald Rama of Cleveland.

The ring attendant was Eric Meyers of Ottsville, Pa.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, a 2006 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a 2011 graduate of Robert Morris University.

She is employed as an interactive writer by EDMC in Pittsburgh.

The bridegroom graduated from Penncrest High School in Media, Pa., in 2001 and the University of Pittsburgh in 2005.

He is employed as a Web architect by GiftCards.com in Greentree, Pa.

Following a honeymoon trip to London, the couple is making their home in Pittsburgh.
