Wreck stalls traffic on I-80 this morning

RICHLAND TWP, Clarion County — No one was injured but a wrecked truck shut down traffic on the Emlenton Bridge on Interstate 80 for about an hour early this morning, authorities said.
The truck driver, whose name was not immediately known, was eastbound on I-80 about 2 a.m. when his tractor-trailer crashed into a Jersey barrier
The concrete barrier was installed to separate lanes of traffic as part of a bridge and road renovation project. The bridge spans the Allegheny River and links Clarion and Venango counties along I-80.
The four-lane highway across the bridge is reduced to one lane in each direction during the construction project.
State police had to close the bridge and detour traffic following the accident to allow a wrecker to tow away the disabled tractor-trailer.
