Haine Elementary School sixth grader Mya Orgovan earned a first-place award in the ceramics category for her wheel thrown bowl during the Associated Artists of Butler County's first elementary student art show held March 15.

BUTLER — Four Haine Middle School students were named award winners during the Associated Artists of Butler County's first elementary student art show held March 15.
Sixth-grader Phoebe Shi earned a first-place honor in the mixed media category for her mask “Athena.”
Mya Orgovan, also in grade six, earned a first place award in the ceramics category for her wheel thrown bowl.
Madison Smith, a fifth grader, was named a second-place winner in the painting category for her abstract painting.
Chloe Rechkemer, grade six, earned an honorable mention in the mixed media category for her mask “Color, Paint, Create.”
