Jennifer Alcantara and Scott Cyphert

A June 1 wedding is being planned by Jennifer Alcantara and Scott Cyphert, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Theodore Alcantara of Butler and Jacqueline Alcantara of Cranberry Township. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are David and Tami Vakiener of Ridgway.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School and a 2010 graduate of Slippery Rock University.

She is employed by Americare Management Corp. in New Castle.

Her fiancé graduated in 2000 from Ridgway High School and in 2008 from Triangle Tech. He served in the U.S. Navy from 2000 to 2004.

He is employed by Universal Forest Products in Parker.
