Stop trashing people

It’s come to my attention that a lot of innocent people are becoming victimized by the Internet’s sensation of Facebook.
There’s a page dealing with Butler, and I have had family members and friends “trashed” on this page.
So I know what I’m talking about.
The people who’ve been hurt by that page are loving and caring and God’s gifts to this world. They don’t deserve to be ridiculed on the Internet — for the world to see.
But what frustrates me most is that what is posted isn’t even true. The “trash man” has no sense of humanity or even an interest in getting his facts straight.
Childish games shouldn’t be allowed in the grown-up world.
Based on my understanding through years of school, if you’re going to try to prove your point, you need to have your ducks in a row and have your facts right before you present them. Otherwise, you look like a fool.
And, the “trash” page is a prime example, along with the fact that the person running it refuses to identify himself or herself, which, in my opinion, benefits the definition of crime — using the anonymity of the Internet to get away with public slander.
I am all for Facebook or someone shutting down the page. It does no justice to anyone.
