Zelienople resident wins chapter award
ASHLAND, Ohio — Elizabeth Papantonio, a junior hospitality management and marketing double major at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio, has received the Chapter of the Year Award at the NSMH National Conference and Career Fair convention held last month in Orlando, Fla.
Papantonio won the award as part of Ashland’s chapter of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality.
The 2010 Seneca Valley graduate is the daughter of Tony Papantonio and Karen Haluck of Zelienople.

SV Middle School to showcase talent
JACKSON TWP — The Seneca Valley Middle School will host its 4th annual Middle School Talent Show at 4 p.m. April 6 in the middle school multipurpose room.
More than 50 students will compete in acts including singers, dancers, musicians and comedians.
Cost is $5, and tickets will be sold during all lunch periods and at the door. Refreshments will be available.
