U.S. has 1 hope

In 1990, 85 percent of Americans described themselves as Christians. Three U.S. presidents — Woodrow Wilson, Harry Truman and Jimmy Carter — all declared America to be a Christian nation.
To my fellow Christians, I say, we are under attack. There is a great battle brewing. In fact, this battle already is upon us. It is the battle in our country between good and evil.
Recently, President Barack Obama became the first president to attack religious freedom protected by the U.S. Constitution. Our president supports abortion, same-sex marriage, embryonic stem cell research, and contraception. All of the above are evil; therefore, are not in union with the moral law of God.
Obama ends every speech with “God Bless the United States of America,” yet his agenda is leading America on a path of destruction. Immorality precedes the demise of a nation.
On Nov. 6, America had two choices, good or evil. Had Christians voted with their conscience, Mitt Romney would have won by a landslide.
Fifty-one percent of voters rejected God and embraced evil.
I want to say to the other 48 percent who voted for good, that we did not lose on Nov. 6, our entire country lost.
Several states voted to legalize marijuana. Massachusetts barely rejected a plan to legalize physician-assisted suicide.
Three states chose to legalize gay marriage, for the first time in our country’s history. In Florida, a ban on taxpayers’ funding of abortion was rejected by the people.
There was a time when God held His hand across this great nation. That hand has moved away.
The only hope now for America is Christianity. Christianity is the cornerstone of America.
Only when Christians return and fill our churches will the hand of God once again protect America.
As Christians, let us pay no attention to people who do not know what they are talking about. Let us trust in Jesus; everything will work out well.
