No problems today at Mars after bomb threat

ADAMS TWP — The school day proceeded uneventfully at Mars High School on Friday after a note containing a bomb threat was found Thursday.
Students were bused to the nearby middle school two hours later than normal on Friday morning, then bused to the high school at 10 a.m.
Additional security was present at the school.
Township Police Chief Bill Westerman said on Friday that investigators are searching images from security cameras outside the girl’s bathroom where a note was found that stated a bomb would go off at 9:28 a.m. Friday.
Westerman said police may have some suspects from the video.
The bomb threat is the second at the high school in three weeks, as another note was found on Feb. 11. Police arrested a female student for that crime.
