A Fort Worth (Texas) Star-Telegram editorial about the plight of the socialist U.S. Postal Service was reprinted in the Butler Eagle of Feb. 8.

The editorial talks about “shackles” and “impediments” that the postal service, because it is a government enterprise, is subject to, while ignoring the real shackles placed on individuals who are forbidden from competing against it.

Instead of seeking less congressional interference, Postmaster General Patrick Donahoe should seek full privatization.
