Protest county actions

I can’t believe that we’ve started this year as bad as we ended last year.

Start with the Butler County commissioners. They had to raise the real estate tax.

I don’t care how much it was; it was too much. We had a hard time paying the tax at its previous level.

All of us weren’t born with a silver spoon in our mouth.

It’s time for the voters to clean house. All of the commissioners should go. Their spending makes me sick.

The county doesn’t need a new building. There is plenty of potential office space vacant in and around the city.

Why can’t we get some good people running the county government like we had in the past? We never had a mess like the one we have now.

When spending decisions are made, county government fails to consider other expenses of the people that continue to rise — such as utility bills and medical insurance costs.

I won’t say things can’t get any worse; the commissioners and their group have proved that it can.

It’s time for the people to start speaking up about what’s happening. All I can say is “God help us.”
