Cashier brings smiles
Eileen Schoenecker Butler Township
It’s the simple things in life people need to have more of, and that is why I would like to give credit to the manager of Friedman’s at the Greater Butler Mart for making what I and others think was the correct decision. He made the correct decision to allow a cashier named Linda to continue to wear silly hats, glasses, etc., that Linda comes up with to decorate herself for a holiday, event, or just any day. Even if Linda is not your cashier you can spot her, and she always makes you smile or chuckle about the outfit she is wearing. With so much anger and hatred in the world, it is nice to have someone like Linda, in her own small way, bring a smile to the shoppers at Friedman’s. Likewise, it is nice to have a manager who allows unassuming things in life to touch people in a favorable way when they are in the grocery store. I know of many shoppers who share the same opinion.
