Things just don’t seem to get any better in the Butler County Commissioners Office. It’s like the commissioners really don’t care what county taxpayers say or think.

Now they’ll be spending money for classes on how to get along and work well with others. That’s something they should have learned a long time ago in life.

It’s always the two majority commissioners “for” and one “against.”

As for spending millions of dollars that we don’t have for a new building, they should just make the current conditions work.

I would have much more respect for them if they could come up with a plan that would involve not spending money we don’t have. Then they would be serving us.

I am in downtown Butler three or four times a week. I never have seen the commissioners or Butler’s mayor on the sidewalks greeting people and listening to what they have to say. As far as the mayor, the only time I ever saw her was at a Brian Minto fight at Pullman Park several years ago.

Maybe the next time the commissioners can’t get along with each other, they can stand in a corner until they catch on about the kind of conduct that’s necessary.
