ADAMS TWP — Parents of Mars High School students were told to discard report cards gleaned from the district’s website because they were calculated incorrectly.
A letter from principal Todd Kolson was sent Tuesday to parents of students in grades nine through 12 telling them that the school would remove the grades for the second nine weeks from the website due to “several inaccuracies in grade calculations.”
The letter did not give details on how the inaccuracies occurred, and said parents and students would be notified later this week when the verified report cards are reposted.
Kolson said in the letter that the school has identified the cause of the calculation error, and was working to verify all high school grades with teachers.
Kolson was unavailable for comment for this report.
