Gun debate revealing

Liberal politicians with an agenda are a danger to our nation. Gun control is a major agenda for liberals. They want people to believe gun-free zones are the safest place to be.
New York has pushed through a new gun law. New York liberals are looking to put one of their own in the White House. Anyone can see that their governor, Andrew Cuomo, has the White House in his sights.
Politicians never want to confront one of the real problems: mental health. Meanwhile, guns were not involved in some of the worst mass killings, such as the Oklahoma City bombing.
Our president said his daughters are surrounded with men with guns to protect them. The key word is “protect.” Do those men carry guns in gun-free zones?
It’s doubtful that we’ll ever know why our lawmakers won’t put enough bite in laws directed at crimes in which guns are used.
Many candidates’ political ads at election time proclaimed “I’m pro-gun.” Now we’ll see who is and who isn’t.
Bans won’t ever work. We see how bans involving illegal drugs have worked.
If 25 people were killed tomorrow with a machete, would we ban machetes?
We could ban every gun and piece of ammunition and we still would not stop violent crime. All we would do is play into liberals’ hands.
A person can build a gun with a piece of pipe. Do we ban pipe?
Where is the middle ground?
