Boyd Johnston and Jessica Hempfling

A June 22 wedding is being planned by Jessica Hempfling of Slippery Rock and Boyd Johnston of Grove City.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Robert Hempfling of West Sunbury and Marsha Hempfling of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Robert and Becky Johnston of Grove City.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and is attending the Lawrence County Career and Technical School to become an LPN.

She is employed by Sharon Regional Hospital.

Her fiance graduated in 2010 from Grove City High School.

He is employed by Penn United Technologies and is in the National Guard Infantry Unit.
