More work, less conflict

I decided to not watch another Butler County commissioners meeting, but while changing channels I noticed that a meeting was being televised, so I watched it.
Between the televised meetings and what’s reported in the Butler Eagle, it’s clear that Commissioners William McCarrier and Dale Pinkerton are trying very hard to turn everyone against Commissioner Jim Eckstein.
Meanwhile, many county residents are on Eckstein’s side.
If the commissioners spent their time trying to do something, instead of paying other people to do their work for them, they wouldn’t have to raise our taxes.
These are difficult times. We don’t need more taxes.
I wish McCarrier and Pinkerton would do their work or get out.
At the same time, I wish Eckstein good luck.
