Schools cancel activities

After-school activities, including basketball games, have been canceled at Butler, Freeport and Seneca Valley school districts because of the snow.
Both varsity and junior varsity basketball games at Butler and Seneca Valley school districts are canceled. Freeport has canceled its 9th grade, junior varsity and varsity basketball games.
However, the Seneca Valley varsity wrestling match was still scheduled tonight as planned.
At Butler, the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association Band Rehearsal is still scheduled, but will now dismiss at 5:30 p.m.
All other activities are canceled in all three districts.
Seneca Valley basketball games have been rescheduled for Saturday. The junior varsity game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the varsity game begins at 7 p.m.
