2 don't make sense

Let me get this straight. The U.S. Postal Service paid Lance Armstrong $30 million to advertise for it. In 2011, the Postal Service lost $3.5 billion, and the loss for 2012 is projected to be four times that.

Are the officials in Washington, D.C., crazy?

Then there is the Pennsylvania Turnpike operating at a loss also. Please tell me why, since I don’t travel the turnpike often, I must pay 25 percent more than the E-ZPass people.

Meanwhile, turnpike employees travel free, which results in lost revenue of $1.4 million.

We could salt a lot of roads with that money.
