Mann, Menchyk
Laura Mann and Nicholas Menchyk were united in marriage Oct. 6 at The Highland Brewing Co. in Asheville, N.C. The Rev. Jane Gardner Schieber officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mark Mann and Ruth Purcell of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Tom and Linda Menchyk of Butler.
Bridesmaids were Nell-Morgan Vitale of Columbus, Ohio, and Katherine Caracciola of Cranberry Township.
Groomsmen were Matthew Menchyk and Michael Menchyk, both of Butler.
The bride and groom both graduated from Butler High School in 2003.
The bride received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, and her master’s degree in teaching from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.
The bridegroom received both his bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. from Clemson University.
The couple is making their home in Easley, S.C.
