Gun rights supporters rally outside Pa. Capitol

HARRISBURG — Firearms owners and gun rights supporters are in the Pennsylvania Capitol, vowing to defeat any effort to infringe on the Second Amendment.
The grassroots group Pennsylvania Responsible Citizens held a rally today in Harrisburg that featured state lawmakers and about 100 people in the bitter cold.
Armstrong County Republican state Rep. Jeff Pyle says those at the rally are worried about possible infringements on gun ownership rights, and that more people die using extension ladders than by being shot.
The rally comes amid calls for a boycott of the nine-day Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show in Harrisburg next month, and a growing list of vendors pulling out of the show.
Also today, CeaseFirePA plans to gather in the Capitol to call for action on gun violence.
