I want to share with Butler Eagle readers a wonderful experience that happened on Jan. 12 at St. Vincent’s at Greater Butler Mart.

I will be getting married soon and saw a beautiful wedding dress, but was unable to purchase it at the time, as I am a single mother.

Several other customers were in line, and we all started talking about that dress.

The woman who was in front of me was done with her purchases and instructed the cashier to get the dress — and she bought it for me. Everyone in line was amazed by her kindness; I was overwhelmed with joy.

I have had the dress cleaned, and it fits perfectly.

So, to the angel who helped make my special day perfect, I would like to say thank-you from the bottom of my heart.

There still are amazing people out there.
