Selent, Cypher
Janessa Selent and Timothy Cypher were united in marriage Sept. 1 at Calvary Lutheran Church in Grand Fork, N.D. The Rev. Paul Winter officiated. A reception followed at the Canad Inns in Grand Forks.
The bride is the daughter of Gord and Lisa Selent of Winnipeg, Canada. Parents of the bridegroom are Randy and Connie Cypher of Butler.
The honor attendant was Katy Hollander of Winnipeg. Bridesmaids included Kristy Hawes and Ashley Edgar, both of Winnipeg.
The flower girl was Kenani Selent of Winnipeg.
Performing the duties of best man was Jordan Gray of Butler. Ushers included Shannon Jenkins of Chicago and Jonathan Cypher of Denver.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of St. Norbert Collegiate.
The bridegroom graduated from Knoch High School in 2004.
The couple is planning on being missionaries in Uganda, Africa.
