Other attack answers

I marvel at the number of people demanding answers concerning the terrorist attack against the U.S. embassy in Benghazi. One would think such a thing never happened before.

It has, many times over, but under the previous administration. During George W. Bush’s time in office, there were 12 separate attacks on American embassies globally. During those attacks, a total of 60 people lost their lives.

Where was the outrage then? Where were the demands for accountability?

The instigators of the charade that is unfolding have no interest in justice. They care nothing about the people who died or the terrorists who killed them.

They took a tragedy and shamelessly twisted it into a political device to attempt to sway voters from supporting President Barack Obama. That backfired in a huge way, as was demonstrated in the second presidential debate.

Mitt Romney crumbled under the pressure of facts and accusations of opportunistic campaigning.

Those involved in this chicanery will eventually come to their senses about Benghazi. I just hope they still have the energy to seek answers about the dozen attacks waged during their party’s tenure.
