The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carl and Jean Chen of Dayton, Ohio. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Ernest and Darlene Edinboro of Slippery Rock.
The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Centerville High School and a 2000 graduate of Duke University.
She is a graduate student at John Hopkins University in Baltimore.
Her fiancé graduated in 1992 from Slippery Rock High School and in 1998 from Slippery Rock University.
He is employed by the Shodor Education Foundation in Durham, N.C.
