Pessimism about U.S.
Betty Leonberg Forward Township
Way to go, U.S.A. Four more years and nothing but executive orders and do-nothing about foreign affairs. Even if we are nice to Iran, does President Barack Obama really think that country would not attack us? Meanwhile, we will be taxed for our medical equipment such as breathing and dialysis machines, diabetic supplies and oxygen. Also, I for one am not looking forward to a “green” car that weighs about 500 pounds being on the interstates with 18-wheelers. Running blackouts will be “fun”: no heat in the north, no cooling in the south, no running water for 12 hours a day. Will I get a generator to keep the milk cold and the meat frozen? How will I pay for the gas? People shouldn’t forget that if they’ve been in the hospital, they won’t be able to have a relapse within 30 days of that hospital stay because they’ll get turned away. And, people shouldn’t blame the hospitals; they can’t afford the fines and still be available for the people. Don’t forget the foreign affairs policy, or lack thereof. Weapons and bombs will be aimed at Israel and the United States. There will be more terrorist attacks at our embassies around the globe — another 9/ll in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C. As much as I love my family, I don’t want for us to have to live together in one house. I see it coming to that because enough jobs no longer are available for our citizens. Maybe we should move to China.
