Karns City sole winner in football playoffs



Karns City was the only winner Friday night out of three Butler County teams to play in the state football playoffs.
Karns City beat Kane 33-27.
Seneca Valley lost to North Allegheny by a score of 47-17 while Slippery Rock fell to General McLane, 46-42.
Karns City’s record now is 9-3 while Seneca and Slippery Rock both finished the season at 9-2.
Grove City plays Hickory at 1 p.m. Saturday.
