Brown, Smith
Leah Brown of Renfrew and Levi Smith of Butler were united in marriage June 8 at Chapel Valley Estates in Ellwood City. The Rev. Ted Harris officiated. A reception followed at the Chapel Valley Estates.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffery and Roxanne Brown of Renfrew. Parents of the bridegroom are Brian and Jennifer Smith of Butler.
The honor attendant was Haley Brown of Renfrew. Bridesmaids included Chelsey Kirby and Danie Kirby, both of Morgantown, W.Va., and Rita Geigle and Michele Ritchey, both of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Joel Matonak of North Park. Ushers included Jamie Mossman of Brookville, Adam Barker and Trevor Casserly, both of Chicago, and Joel Vaughn of Butler.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School and a 2010 graduate of Penn State University with a degree in radiology.
The bridegroom graduated from Butler High School in 2008 and from Moody Bible Institute of Chicago in 2012.
He is employed by Essex Alliance Church in Essex, Vt., as a high school pastor.
Following a honeymoon trip to Riviera Maya, the couple is making their home in Vermont.
