New tactics for GOP

Republican leaders accuse President Barack Obama’s campaign of using race and gender issues to motivate female, black and Latino voters against Mitt Romney.
We have four more years of leadership from a great man; that’s good news for everyone, although not everyone agrees.
The overwhelming consensus from the right is that we are now a nation of takers. I think Republicans would do well to look for answers inside their own party.
The right caters to rich, white men. They may deny that, but when it came to the issues that counted for women, Asians, blacks and Latinos, the Republicans opposed them.
The minority and woman vote is what brought Democrats the win. We got 93 percent of the black vote, 73 percent of the Asian vote, 71 percent of the Latino vote, and 60 percent were people between the ages of 18 and 29.
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham was quoted as saying, “We’re not generating enough angry white guys.” The truth is, whites have been the minority in this country for years.
Republicans can look forward to many more bitter disappointments if they continue to only appease rich whites and religious fanatics.
