Guns necessary

What would life be like without guns?
There would be an explosion of the wild animal population. Geese would eat our crops more, and jet airplanes would crash as geese would fly into the engines.
Raccoons carry rabies. Coyotes, if not controlled, might eat our small pets. Deer eat crops and cause car crashes.
There are people who want to introduce wolves in our state. What a problem that would be.
Currently, responsible landowners and hunters maintain control of animals by the use of guns.
Without guns, how would we protect ourselves from home invasions?
