Ghost Walks lauded

What a treat for all the people who participated in the Ghost Walks hosted by Bill May and sponsored by the Butler County Civil War Roundtable.
Our group quickly grew to eight as we all wanted to do something fun for Halloween.
We attended on the evening of Oct. 20 with dozens of others who ranged in age from children to teens to adults. It was great fun to see the reaction of people in vehicles passing by, as the drivers’ heads turned to see such a large group of people walking down Main Street.
Bill May was an excellent tour guide and kept us all engaged with folklore and eerie tales and also added humor along the way. We also learned a lot about the architecture and history of Butler and the many notorious and famous people from Butler’s past, including magician and escape artist Harry Houdini.
May proved to be an amazing storyteller. Hats off to him for a very entertaining evening.
