Early Tuesday morning, the Salvation Army at 313 W. Cunningham St. in Butler had no sign posted to redirect voters to the new polling location, which is now VFW Post 249 at 429 W. Jefferson St.

A relative of mine, Stacy Merrison, went to the Salvation Army building without knowing about the new location for voting.

Can someone explain why there wasn’t a notice about the change posted on the door of the Salvation Army where voters formerly cast their ballots? County election officials should have made sure that such a notification was in place.
