Change not posted

Early Tuesday morning, there was no sign at the Salvation Army at 313 W. Cunningham St. in Butler to redirect voters to the new polling location, which is now VFW Post 249 at 429 W. Jefferson St.
A relative of mine, Stacy Merrison, went to the former polling place, never having seen any notification (post cards were reportedly mailed) about the relocation of the polling site.
Can someone explain why there wasn’t a notice about the change posted on the door of the Salvation Army where voters formerly cast their ballots? County election officials should have made sure that such a notification was in place.
