Van crashes into porch in city

A van crashed into the porch of a home on East Fulton Street in Butler on Wednesday afternoon, but damage to the house was minimal and no one was injured.
City police are investigating the crash and have not released the identity of the van's driver, who declined medical treatment at the scene and was handcuffed and taken away by city police.
The van appears to have been driving south on Summit Street, a brick-paved road which slopes down toward its T-intersection with East Fulton Street, when it failed to stop at the intersection, jumped the curb, then drove over the sidewalk and about 10 feet of landscaping before crashing into the porch of the home at 527 E. Fulton Street.
