The award is an honor given to members of a Masonic Lodge who act as role models and provide dedicated service to the Boy Scouts of America.
Since 2002, Sinopoli has served on a number of Boy Scout Council committees, as well as serving as council officer and vice president of administration. In 2010, he was instrumental in organizing the council’s Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner resulting in $83,000 being raised for Scouting. He also was elected council president in 2011 and 2012.
The award was presented by Wayne D. Frankenstein, District Deputy Grand Master for the 26th Masonic District. Past award recipients were present for the ceremony.
