Man accused of robbing women at gunpoint
Three women, including a pizza delivery driver, were robbed at gunpoint late Tuesday night in Butler, city police said.
Police arrested the suspect, a convicted drug trafficker, not long after the alleged holdup at a duplex on East Locust Street.
Kyle Bouie, 23, of Philadelphia is being held on $300,000 bail in the Butler County Prison on robbery, firearms and other charges.
Police suspect Bouie about 11:25 p.m. accosted 45-year-old Michelle Taylor of Summit Township, a delivery woman for Pizza Hut in Butler, outside a duplex in the 300 block of East Locust Street.
Taylor told police the suspect emerged from the side of the house and pointed a gun to the back of her head.
He ordered her into the apartment where Kathryn Nagle lives. Also there was Tanya Johnston, who lives in the other apartment in the duplex.
Butler police Capt. David Dalcamo said Bouie has been staying with Johnston at her apartment since the spring.
Nagle, 41, and Johnston, 23, told police that Bouie had forced them “under duress” to call the Pizza Hut and place an order to Nagle's apartment.
“He ordered all three women face down on the floor and ran their pockets,” Dalcamo said.
Bouie is accused of stealing from Taylor a change purse that she uses for her job. The purse contained less than $20, police said.
He also allegedly took an unspecified amount of money from a wallet that was in Johnston's pocket.
Officers suspected Bouie was at Johnston's apartment, where they found him on the second floor and arrested him.
