Matt and Melissa Karski

Melissa Fogel and Matt Karski, both of Cranberry Township, were united in marriage June 9 at St. Fidelis Parish. The Rev. Stanley Gregorek officiated. A reception followed at the Four Points Sheraton North.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Karen Fogel of Renfrew. Parents of the bridegroom are Walter and Jane Karski of New Castle.

The honor attendants were Melanie Buczko of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Aimee Farmer of Butler. Bridesmaids included Tara Leisenring of Selinsgrove, Jennifer Mislinski of Schwenksville and Ashton Early, Ashley Brenckle, Kristen Lesniewski, Jennifer Kienzle, Ashley Werner and KayLeigh Vodenichar, all of Butler.

The junior bridesmaid was Alexis Tejchman of Butler.

The flower girls were Karsyn Mateja of New Castle and Gillian Jastraub of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was John Karski of New Castle. Ushers included Rick Fogel of Butler and Dustin Sumner, Shane McCullough, Matt Manzo, Brian Mateja, Darren Weimer, Kerr Montgomery and Luke Bukowski, all of New Castle.

The ring bearer was Ryan McCall of Butler.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School, a 2008 graduate of Penn State University and a 2012 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.

She is a resident at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine studying orthodontics.

The bridegroom graduated from Neshannock High School in 2002, the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2010.

He is a general dentist at a private practice in New Castle.

Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple is making their home in Cranberry Township.
