Macurak, Grennay
Kristen Macurak and Alex Grennay of Pittsburgh were united in marriage May 26 at Bear Creek Farm in Bruin. The Rev. Jack Buzzard officiated. A reception followed at the Reminisce Banquet Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Diane and Jerry Macurak of Bruin. Parents of the bridegroom are Laurie and JP Grennay of Defiance, Ohio.
The honor attendant was Chrichele Griffiths of Petrolia. Bridesmaids included Kelsey Scott and Sarah Hyde, both of Pittsburgh, and Gabrielle Grennay and McKenna Grennay, both of Defiance.
The flower girl was Kassidey Grennay of Defiance and the junior flower girl was Addison Smith of Bruin.
Performing the duties of best man was Nick Dembowski of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Justin Macurak of Bruin, Michael Feinberg of Pittsburgh, Chase Grennay of Defiance and Skylar Macurak of Chicora.
The ring bearers were William Kelly Jr. and Zachary Kelly, both of Bruin.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Karns City High School. She is employed by Travelers Insurance in Pittsburgh.
The bridegroom graduated from Ayersville High School in 2005. He is employed by All State Insurance in Pittsburgh.
Following a honeymoon trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is making their home in Pittsburgh.
