Frick, Westgate
Bethanie Frick of Alexandria, Va., and Pastor Brian Westgate of Butler were united in marriage June 15 at Faith Lutheran Church. Pastor Tim Frick officiated. A reception followed at Faith Lutheran Church.
The bride is the daughter of Pastor Tim and Sandi Frick of Genoa, Ill. Parents of the bridegroom are Steve and Lucia Westgate of Blissfield, Mich.
The honor attendants were Emily Horacek of Papillion, Neb., and Jennifer Marquardt of Mundelein, Ill. Bridesmaids included Lisa Fairfield of Cary, Ill., Caroline Scheck of Laurel, Md., and Sandy Keiser of McLean, Va.
The flower girls were Claire Horacek of Papillion and Abby Marquardt of Mundelein.
Performing the duties of best man was Dr. Philip Westgate of Lexington, Ky. Ushers included Matt Frick of Brownstown, Ind., Pastor Josh Gale of Philadelphia, Pastor Rob Kieselowsky of Alexandria, Va., and Pastor Tom Park of Moorhead, Minn.
The ring bearer was Master Jake Horacek of Papillion.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Cary-Grove High School and a 2002 graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University.
She is employed by The Potter’s School.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Michigan Lutheran Seminary, in 2004 from Martin Luther College and in 2011 from of Concordia Theological Seminary.
He is employed by Faith Lutheran Church.
Following a honeymoon trip to New England, the couple is making their home in Butler.
