Planets look to stay perfect vs. Lions

Following its first 4-0 start in 16 years, the Mars football team will look to stay unbeaten on Friday at Greater Allegheny Conference foe Greensburg Salem.
The Planets (4-0, 4-0) are led by sophomore fullback Josh Schultheis, who has accounted for 597 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns.
Quarterback Owen Nearhoof has passed for 337 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions.
Greensburg Salem (1-3, 1-3) was defeated last week by Franklin Regional 44-0. The Golden Lions’ one victory this season was a 20-10 upset of Hampton Sept. 14.
Leading the Golden Lions on offense is senior running back Tyler Shook, who has tallied 230 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.
Freshman quarterback Daniel Walters has completed 16 of 27 passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
