Maria Lutz and Jesse Lopez

A June 29 wedding is being planned by Maria Lutz and Jesse Lopez.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Larry and Judy Lutz of Buffalo Township. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Don and Barb Scandrol of Mars and Anthony Lopez of Pittsburgh.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Freeport High School and a 2009 graduate ofPenn State University with her bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

She is employed as a first grade teacher at St. Philip’s Academy in Newark, N.J.

Her fiancé graduated in 2005 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2009 from Allegheny College in Meadville with his bachelor’s degree in English.

He is an advertising sales consultant at Hometown Quarterly Magazine in Cranford, N.J.
