The bride-to-be is the daughter of Scott and Susan Nesbitt of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Robert and Carole McAfee of Cranberry Township.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Butler High School. She attended The University of Washington in Seattle and is attending the University of Pittsburgh.
She will apply to veterinarian schools in the fall.
Her fiance was a 2005 home school graduate, and he graduated from Grove City College in 2009.
He is employed by Northway Christian Community as a TSS with Southwestern Human Services and a substitute teacher for various school districts.
