Local golfers shine at event

Several local youth golfers fared well at the sixth event on the U.S. Kids Golf Pittsburgh Tour at Hillcrest Country Club in Lower Burrell recently:
• Henry Bartony III of Butler shot an 80 to snag first place in the Boys 11 division.
• James Ellis of Butler fired and 88 to claim the top spot in the Boys 12 division.
• Jason Li of Cranberry Township shot a 78 to win the Boys 13-14 division.
• Paige Scott of Butler shot a 49 to place second in the Girls 8-9 division.
• Kennedy Johnston of Cranberry Township carded a 45 to finish second in the Girls 12-14 division.
• Adam Bushee of Cranberry Township finished with an 82 to place second in the Boys 13-14 division.
