The bride-to-be is the daughter of Barth and Cheryl Brown. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Dennis and Renee Sharp.
The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Butler High School and a 2009 graduate of Shadyside School of Nursing.
She is attending Slippery Rock University for nursing and is employed by Butler Memorial Hospital.
Her fiance graduated in 2003 from Shaler High School and in 2007 from La Roche College with a bachelor’s in finance.
He is a West Deer firefighter.
