8:03 a.m. Saturday — An unidentified van reportedly struck three vehicles parked on Main Street near Brady Street and did not stop. The van, which was southbound on Main Street, is described as a blue/green or teal Chrysler Town and Country. Police said the suspect vehicle has passenger side damage and is missing a side mirror.Anyone with information about the van is asked to call police at 724-287-7743.6:02 a.m. Saturday — No one was injured when a car and ambulance collided at Main and Wayne streets. The crash happened, police said, when a car driven by Timothy L. Dawson, 19, of Uniontown, Fayette County, struck the driver's side of the ambulance driven by David S. Diamond, 43, of McKeesport, Allegheny County.The ambulance, owned by the Oklahoma Volunteer Fire Department in Westmoreland County, was transporting an elderly patient at the time. The patient, an 88-year-old man from Ambridge, Beaver County, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital to be checked out, in keeping with the ambulance service policy.12:43 a.m. Saturday — Thomas R. Bergbigler Jr., 39, of Butler was caught with suspected drugs and drug-related contraband after police were called to Amy L. Scott's home in the 400 block of West North Street for a reported domestic dispute.Scott told police that Bergbigler had her wallet. Officers searched the suspect and found a used syringe and a prescription bottle containing clonazepam pills, an antiseizure drug, for which he apparently did not have a prescription.Police said Bergbigler is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, and public drunkenness.Saturday — A boys' bicycle was stolen overnight from the yard of a home in the 400 block of Zeigler Avenue. The bike, worth $50, is a silver Mongoose model with rust and animal stickers on the frame.

10:15 a.m. Friday — A pickup truck driven by Abigail Hartman, 18, of Pittsburgh rear-ended a car stopped on South Duffy Road at New Castle Road. Eileen Hartle, 62, of Chicora, the other driver, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.State Police, Butler2:25 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Kevin D. McMillen, 21, of Saxonburg crashed into an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Dinnerbell Road, just west of Frazier Road, in Jefferson Township. Police said McMillen was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.8:35 a.m. Sunday — A car driven by Michael C. Glynn, 61, of Lockport, N.Y., struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.2:41 a.m. Sunday — Two Mercer County men were hurt when their speeding car struck a guardrail and crashed over an embankment on Route 258 in Slippery Rock Township. The driver, Cody A. Frey, 20, of Mercer, and his passenger, Zachery Coupland, 20, of Sharpsville, were taken by medical helicopter of UPMC Presbyterian with moderate injuries.Sunday — Justin T. Victor, 21, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Woodlands Road in Connoquenessing Township.Sunday — An unknown thief stole a lock box from a home on Old East Butler Road in Summit Township. The lock box contained $350 in currency, three necklaces and personal documents. The theft happened between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.2:24 p.m. Saturday — Richard M. Reifenstein, 71, of Evans City was hurt when he crashed his motorcycle on Eau Claire Road in Venango Township. Reifenstein, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown off the cycle. He was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.8:30 p.m. Friday — Two boys or young men are suspected of driving around and harassing people in the area of Powdermill and Rieber roads in Connoquenessing Township. The unknown suspects are described as being in their mid- to late-teens. The driver has short brown hair.Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.4:23 p.m. Friday — Cars driven by Lara A. Elliott, 26, of New Castle and Thomas E. Whisel, 56, of Butler collided at Route 422 and Young Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Elliott was cited for a stop sign violation.Friday — Police charged Ronald K. Musick, 43, and Michael Musick Jr., 42, both of Butler with the Jan. 29 or 30 theft of $1,005 in property from Martin's Sales and Service in Center Township.The men are accused of taking scrap metal, a 40-foot ladder and a 40-pound bag of wood pellets. Both suspects are charged with first-degree misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving stolen property.9:10 p.m. Thursday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Debra Stanish, 54, of Oil City, Franklin Township, struck a deer on I-79 in Jackson Township.

Sunday — Someone stole two Apple iPods, an Apple iHome docking station and two subwoofers from a car on Lairds Crossing Road in West Franklin Township. Eggs also were thrown on the car. The theft and vandalism happened between 11 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.State Police, Mercer6:41 p.m. Saturday — Frederick J. Glotz, 43, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a domestic dispute at a home on Barkeyville Road in Pine Township. Glotz was arraigned on charges of simple assault, harassment, driving with a suspended license and careless driving. He is free on $5,000 unsecured bail.

1:17 a.m. Saturday — Lewis F. Johnson, 56, of Burgettstown, Washington County, was arrested after allegedly violating a woman's protection from abuse order at her home on McConnells Mill Road in Slippery Rock Township. Johnson is charged with indirect criminal contempt.
