Butler Police4:33 p.m. Monday — Timothy C. Monfre, 52, of Butler was hurt when the bike he was riding collided with a sport utility vehicle at Short Street and Donaghy Avenue. Monfre was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. Kyle B. Conley, 25, of Penn Township was driving the SUV.

Butler Twp. Police4:49 p.m. Monday — Amber Selfridge, 32, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting $395 in grocery items from the Walmart in Butler Commons. Selfridge is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property.Monday — Police filed drugged driving and other charges against Chad Hutchison, 28, of Saxonburg, stemming from a hit-and run crash Jan. 12 on New Castle Road at the entrance to Butler Commons.Police suspect Hutchison’s vehicle rear-ended another vehicle. About 15 minutes after he drove away, police said, officers found his vehicle in a parking lot of a nearby bar in the township.In the vehicle, according to a police report, were four cans of aerosol air duster. One of the cans was opened and appeared to have been recently used, the report said.Hutchison is charged with driving under the influence of solvents or a noxious substance, hit-and-run, inhaling solvents, failing to stop and render aid after an accident and driving with a suspended license.

State Police, ButlerTuesday — Police filed drunken driving and other charges against Molly Adams, 48, of Wexford, stemming from a 10:27 p.m. Jan. 27 traffic stop at Route 356 and Barracks Road in Butler Township.In addition to driving under the influence, Adams is charged with disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving, driving a vehicle without valid inspection and an open container violation.
