Democratic Committee member Denny Scott, in his letter to the editor of Feb. 1, presents a good case favoring President Barack Obama. However, he exaggerates and omits many incriminating facts.

Scott conveniently left out “fast and furious with Mexicans” and one border guard having been killed with our guns. He forgot about our collusion in Libya with revolutionaries killing thousands.

What about Solyndra and the half-billion dollars sent to Finland to build an electric car for the millionaires who can afford them, and the Volts giveaway?

Oh, that money came from the taxpayers or the Government Printing Office. The grandkids can afford it.

Former Vice President Al Gore appreciated the support for the Fisker we loaned to Finland at the cost of a half-billion dollars.

Also, how about the shadow government of the 43 czars who write the regulations restricting business and jobs such as the pipeline from Canada? Who pays their salaries?

Of course, the president believes in abortion, even if the baby is born alive, as he proclaimed women’s right to choose death at whatever cost, and certainly the taxpayers should be required to pay for that and birth control.

Do other cultures appreciate our money used in clinics for women in Africa to have that privilege of destroying their babies?

But then world population is best controlled by the government, they say.

Obama also makes sure that no Christian symbol will appear when he speaks at a Catholic university. But he takes his shoes off at a Muslim mosque and loves their call to worship.

His minions make sure that decrepit, sick old ladies get rude patdowns at airports, but the Muslims go through with impunity.

We cannot forget the conscience clause; it does not apply to Catholic agencies, hospitals or clinics. They must be sure that they offer abortifacients and birth control pills, regardless of their beliefs.

The ghost comes out of the closet when abortion becomes mandatory. It works for China.

Scott must offer something better that has been done by the president because I left out his Wall Street buddies and the housing crisis financed by the government to pay for his financial supporters and CEOs who receive millions while crushing homeowners with exorbitant mortgage payments.

So, these are Republican lies, but Obama has not proved by actions that they are lies.

If we want socialism, we need to support him.

Michelle Obama promised to rewrite history, and I suggest that Scott did.
