Butler Police1:53 a.m. Thursday — Charles Crank, 53, of Salem, Ohio, who lives on Second Street in Butler, was charged with receiving stolen property, theft from a motor vehicle and public drunkenness after someone allegedly caught him entering a neighbor’s parked vehicle along College Street. When arrested, Crank was in possession of items stolen from several other vehicles on previous occasions, according to city police.10:22 p.m. Jan. 26 — Thomas E Snyder, 23, of Butler was charged with prohibited offensive weapons after he allegedly detonated a small pipe bomb along Maryland Avenue, injuring his hand in the process.
Butler Twp Police4:06 p.m. Thursday — Donald Hutchinson, 20, of Lyndora was charged with two counts of simple assault and one count each of disorderly conduct, harassment and underage consumption after he allegedly struck a woman’s car with a shovel, then threw her to the ground in a domestic dispute in Lyndora.8:52 p.m. Wednesday — John B. Best, 22, of Chicora was charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief after he allegedly threw a brick through the door of his father’s residence, causing about $550 worth of damage. John Best then allegedly assaulted his father, Robert Best, 52, causing injuries to his face and ribs. Anyone with information on John Best’s whereabouts should call police at 724-896-9600.2:05 a.m. Wednesday — Adam Baldauff, 42, of Butler was arrested under suspicion of DUI after police allegedly discovered him sleeping in his vehicle parked on Whitestown Road.
Grove City PoliceJuly 11, 2011 — Zachary Hardman-Cornelio, 18, of Hermitage was arrested for assault after he allegedly attacked a 16-year-old Grove City boy at the Union Street Playground in Grove City. Hardman-Cornelio was charged this week.
